Nothing
Nothing
there’s a thin white line
wrapped around her finger
once the finger wore a ring
once that ring shined liked the stars
once the stars were reflected in her eyes
once her eyes shed no tears
once her sobs were unknown
once the unkown was what she sought
but now she seeks happiness
once she knew happiness
once she knew love
once she was loved
once she loved someone in return
once someone made her smile
and put a ring on her finger
but now there is no love, no smile, no ring
now there is nothing
