Lyrical Musings

Lyrical Musings is a website dedicated to showcasing my writing, more specifically my poems and stories. It began sometime in early 2003 when I moved my writing from my website to its own corner on the web because I realized it deserved a place of its own and it was beginning to grow too large. Then I used Blogger for updates and new writings and hard coded the website myself.

Eventually, I bought a new domain and Lyrical Musings moved with me. Unfortunately, it had grown dusty over the years as my writing became less frequent but it always represented a significant aspect of my life and personality. I had always intended to update the site more and revamp the layout but it never happened. Finally, in late 2006, more than 3 years after the birth of Lyrical Musings, I grew tired of its state and I upgraded it to WordPress.

Now, Lyrical Musings is more dynamic and interactive than ever. Equipped with a search function, RSS feeds, registration and comments (although it had a shoddy version of comments with Blogger) and with a shiny and new, albeit not my own, layout the focus of the site is still on my writings, dozens of which have finally been updated and added.

With all this comes renewed ambition to not only write more but to update the site more frequently as well. Hopefully, it will never fall into the state it was before.

Additionally, I do plan to add themes of my own as well as several pre-made WordPress themes for your viewing pleasure.
